How much does a session cost and what does the fee include?
A regular session is $125 and includes immediate family members, up to an hour of shooting, a disc with full copyrights of your edited images. The fee also includes time and talent: pre and post session consultations, travel*, and my time spent photographing and editing. There is an additional charge for additional families who participate in a group or extended family session. If you choose a spot that charges an entrance fee, the client is responsible for paying the fee for everyone involved including me. The client is also responsible for making sure photography is allowed at that location.
I recommend getting on my calendar for holiday sessions starting in late August early September to guarantee a spot. Once booked for the year my calendar will close.
A maternity session is $100 and includes up to 30 minutes of shooting, a disc with full copyrights of your edited images. The fee also includes time and talent: pre and post session consultations, travel*, and my time spent photographing and editing. Maternity sessions should be done in your third trimester which allows you to capture the fullness of your belly.
A newborn session is $175 and includes up to two hours of shooting, lots of baby props, a disc with full copyrights of your edited images. The fee also includes time and talent: pre and post session consultations, travel*, and my time spent photographing and editing. It is important to get newborn photos done between 4-9 days of life. You must contact me prior to your delivery AND while you are in the hospital. Contacting me when the baby is a week old will be too late and chances of me having openings will be slim. The only way to 100% guarantee a newborn session is if you sign up for the caterpillar to butterfly session below.
From caterpillar to butterfly session is $625 and includes your maternity session (30 mins), newborn session (2 hours), 3 months session (30 mins), 6 months session (30 mins), 9 months session (30 mins) and one year old session (1 hour). The fee also includes a disc with full copyrights of your edited images from each session, time and talent: pre and post session consultations, travel*, and my time spent photographing and editing. Half of the payment is due at the time of the maternity session and the other half will be due at the 6 month session. You can omit the 3 month session for ONE of my mini sessions through out the year.
Mini sessions range in price, depending on location and props. Mini sessions are also on certain days that I choose. All mini sessions have a flyer, you will either need to be on my email distribution or follow me on Facebook to see them. Mini sessions are by appointment only. Some of my mini sessions include: Valentine's, Rodeo, Mommy and Me, Bluebonnets, Halloween, Holiday and sometimes a few other random ones.
A daycare session is $45 per child that participates and includes 10-15 minutes of shooting, a disc with full copyrights of your edited images. The fee also includes time and talent: pre and post session consultations, travel, and my time spent photographing and editing. The photo session would have to take place on the daycare grounds in a shady location located outside. I will bring props and can even do a theme for the day.
Weddings and Quinceanera's are upon request and price depends on the size of event.
Birthday parties, baptisms or any other small special event where you only need me for 2-3 hours are $125 per hour. Weddings and Quinceanera's are not included at this price. Email me if you would like more details.
An extra disc is available for $25.
Prices subject to change at anytime without notice. You secure your price on the day you get on my calendar, so if prices change after you are on my calendar your price does not change.
* there is an extra $35 fee for anything over 35 miles from my Spring Branch location. Anything over 55 miles from my Spring Branch location is $55.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Absolutely! You can get a 30 minute session gift certificate (maternity session only) for $100 or a regular session gift certificate for $125. I can automatically email it to you or can put it in the mail. Gift certificate must be brought to the session.
How much are your professional prints and what other items do you offer?
Package #1 - $80
1 - 10x13, 2 - 8x10, 4 - 5x7, 10-3.5x5, 40 wallets
Package #2 - $40
1 - 8x10, 2 - 5x7, 5 - 3.5x5, 24 wallets
Packages can be more then one pose, you can have as many poses as you choose to fill the package. Also they can be from more then one session you have had with me. (Example: Package 1 has 4 - 5x7's, you can have up to 4 poses if you choose)

What forms of payment do you accept and when do I pay?
Accepted forms of payment: Cash and check.
Fees are due at the time of your session unless otherwise specified.
When and where do you photograph clients and how long does it take?
I am an on-location photographer working in Mobile, AL and the surrounding area. With the exception of newborn sessions, weddings and parties, all of my work is done outside using natural light. If you know a fabulous location, I am there! I am always looking for new places to shoot! Otherwise, we will meet in a park, urban location, or nature center. Any location between 35 - 50 miles from my location will have an extra $35 fee and anything over 50 miles will have an extra $50 fee for transportation costs.
Sessions last up to 1 hour. Mini sessions are usually 15 minutes depending on the session.
When should I expect my disc to arrive in the mail?
There is a 2 week turnaround time for discs, this means it could be less then 2 weeks but also could be more then 2 weeks depending on how busy I am at the time of your session. All discs are mailed by regular USPS. If you need a disc in less than 5 days of our session there will be an extra charge of $50 for expedited editing and overnight shipping.
What should I wear?
I’ve always said simple works best. I love to capture clients when they are relaxed and feeling free. Your outfit should be exactly what you want it to be! Layers and textures are great as well as bright colors. I advise clients not to wear all white as it can make skin tones appear washed out – however, the final decision is yours alone! Kids look great in hats and tutus - and anything else that you can think of that can help express their personality! If your child has a favorite accessory or toy, bring it along! My hope is to capture the real YOU!
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Please cancel 3 days prior to your session. Anything within 3 days of your session will result in paying ½ of your session fee. If you cancel your appointment and want to move it you will get my next available spot which could be a few months out. If I have to cancel for some reason I will fit you in ASAP.
What other type of shoots do you offer?
Baby showers, birthday parties, small weddings, family reunions, birth of a child or any special event you would want pictures to capture your special moment.
